I am an award winning jeweller, with a talent for making customised pieces, that are styled to the person I am designing for. I trained with German and English masters in the craft before moving to New Zealand in 1977. I love working with beautiful, local materials such as Blue Pearl and Greenstone, as well as repurposing and repairing jewellery to give it a new lease on life. Outside of my day to day work, I teach my discipline to the community, so everyone can learn the skills it takes to be a quality crafter. I also enjoy the art of Bonsai, as well as cutting gemstones.
